Hi,
My boyfriend is a regular scuba diver and he persuaded me to do a dive course during our recent holiday in Bali. I started a course with a big dive centre shortly after our arrival in Bali but was very nervous and dropped out. Later in our holiday I accompanied my boyfriend on a dive trip with BIDP (Bali International Diving Professionals). We had seen a recommendation on the BSAC forum for BIDP prior to our trip but didnt use them initially as we were staying in Kuta. While we were out on the boat I got talking to Jacka, one of their instructors and he persuaded me to give it another go. With a great deal of trepidation I started the training ? which was one to one ? and with a bit of encouragement and a lot of patience I got over my fear. When I finished the course I was so proud of myself and so glad that I didn?t walk away from something which gave me so much pleasure. If anyone out there is thinking about learning I highly recommend it and wouldn?t hesitate to recommend BIDP and particularly my Instructor, Jacka.
